JERICHO, Thursday, December 16, 2021 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation authorities demolished today two Palestinian-owned houses that were still in the construction stage in the Jericho area of the occupied West Bank, reported WAFA correspondent.
He said soldiers raided an area in the village of al-Dyouk, west of the ancient city of Jericho, and demolished the two houses, each 100 square meters in area and owned by a local resident.
Israel claims the houses were built in Area C and without a permit, which is impossible for Palestinians to get for construction in Area C of the occupied West Bank that is under full Israeli military rule and makes up more than 60 percent of the area of the West Bank.
