JENIN, January 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces seized nearly 140 dunams of Palestinian land belonging to the village of Fandaqumiya, south of Jenin.

The head of the Fandaqumiya village council, Ghassan Qarariya, told WAFA that  Israeli forces notified residents of the seizure of approximately 140 dunams of village land in three areas.

The newly seized land adds to a previous decision to confiscate 311 dunums, bringing the total area taken to around 450 dunums.

Earlier on Thursday, a group of Israeli colonists erected mobile homes between the lands of Fandaqumiya and Burqa, south of Jenin.
