NABLUS, January 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation bulldozers on Wednesday demolished a residence and sheep pens in the village of Duma, south of Nablus, according to a local official.
The head of the Duma Village Council, Suleiman Dawabsheh, said that Israeli bulldozers razed a 60 square meters residential structure, along with sheep pens, in the southern area of the village.
The property belongs to local Palestinian citizen Khaled Abd Ararah.
According to B’Tselem, the Israeli information center for human rights in occupied territories, “since occupying the West Bank in 1967, Israel has misappropriated more than two million dunams of land (200,000 hectares) throughout the West Bank. Israel uses this land for its own purposes, including building new settlements, expanding the territory they control – including farmland and industrial zones – and paving roads that mainly serve the settler population.”
