GAZA, January 8, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian girl was killed on Thursday by Israeli army gunfire in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that 11-year-old Hamsa Nidal Hawso was killed by Israeli fire in the al-Falouja area of ​​the Jabalia camp.

A child was also wounded by Israeli fire in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, while Israeli artillery shelled the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Two Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Wednesday evening when Israeli forces bombed a house in the al-Tuffah neighborhood northeast of Gaza City.
