RAMALLAH,
Thursday, September 09, 2021 (WAFA) – Relatively hot to hot conditions are
expected today in most districts in daytime with a rise in temperature, which
approaches 3°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian
Meteorological Department (PMD).
Partly
cloudy and moderate to slightly cold conditions are expected in the morning and
night hours. Light to moderate westerly to northwesterly wind blows. Sea waves
are low.
Temperature
in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 31°C
and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 30°C and a low of 18°C.
In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to
reach a high of 40°C and a low of 26°C
while it is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Friday’s
temperature is set to plummet and approach 3°C below the seasonal average,
paving the way to partly cloudy and relatively hot conditions in daytime and
moderate to slightly cold conditions in nighttime. Possible drizzle is expected
on some districts.
Saturday’s
temperature is set to further drop, paving the way to partly cloudy and
moderate conditions. Possible drizzle to light rain is expected.
The
same weather conditions are expected for Sunday.
