RAMALLAH, Monday, October 19, 2020 (WAFA) – Wintertime in Palestine is going to start at 1:00 AM on Saturday, October 24, the Palestinian cabinet said today.
Clocks will be taken back by 60 minutes.
Wintertime in Israel begins 24 hours later.
Wintertime is expected to continue until the end of March of next year, when summertime, or better known as daylight saving time, starts and clocks are moved up 60 minutes.
The cabinet also declared Thursday, October 29, a holiday marking the birth of Prophet Mohammad.
