CAIRO, October 3, 2011 (WAFA) - The Egyptian authorities decided on Monday to close Rafah border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt on Thursday and Friday for the occasion of the official October holidays, according to the Egyptian Middle East News Agency (MENA).
Egypt celebrates its war against Israel on October 6, 1973, which ended in it regaining the Sinai, which was under Israeli occupation since 1967.
MENA said the crossing will reopen on Saturday.
