RAMALLAH, August 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Current and former employees stormed the office of the president of software giant Microsoft in Redmond, Washington, to protest its cooperation with the Israeli occupation army, which has been carrying out massacres against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip for nearly two years.
The protesters, part of a campaign called "No Azure for Apartheid" (Azure is the company's cloud computing platform), demanded an immediate end to cooperation with the Israeli government, amid accusations that Microsoft's services are being used to support military operations against Palestinians in Gaza.
The protest, which included dozens of activists, came at a time when American companies, including Google and Amazon, are facing increasing pressure regarding their contracts with Israel.
