RAMALLAH, March 26, 2011 (WAFA) - Presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said Saturday that President Mahmoud Abbas’ initiative to end the division is a true “road map” regaining unity and ending occupation.

He urged Hamas to come on board as soon as possible for this initiative.

Abu Rudeineh added that the international and regional support Abbas has been receiving is a true response for the benefit of the Palestinian people and their interest, and will increase our steadfastness towards ending the division.

He said this initiative will strengthen our people’s position and their fight against occupation and illegal settlement construction on our lands. This will also ensure real and fair peace talks, which will bring peace and justice to the Palestinian people and the region.
