RAMALLAH, February 10, 2011 (WAFA) – The head of right wing Israeli National Union party proposed on Thursday a bill to the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, allowing the government to dissolve Israeli companies boycotting products made in Israeli settlements.
Israeli left wing activists had called for the boycott of products of Israeli settlements built in the West Bank.
The bill has support of eight Knesset members including Likud, Shas, Yahudat HaTorah and National Union.
