Bethlehem Church Holds Mass in Solidarity with Egypt

BETHLEHEM, February 7, 2011 (WAFA) - Pastor of the Greek Catholic Melkite Church in Bethlehem, Father Yacoub Abu Saada, presided on Monday over a holy mass in solidarity with the Egyptian people, praying for peace, stability and social justice in Egypt.

In his prayer, Abu Saada called for restoring national unity and working for public interest, as well as an end to the turmoil threatening stable life in Egypt.

Members of the church council delivered letters during the service for Egypt and its stability, especially because of the central role it plays in the Middle East and specifically in Palestine.

Several important religious figures participated in the holy mass.
