RAMALLAH, February 6, 2011-(WAFA) - Palestinian Prisoner's Association advocate said on Sunday that Palestinians in Israeli prison of Kfar Etzion will go on hunger strike due to the harsh conditions they are going through.
Prisoners in Kfar Etzion suffer from serious insufficiency in quantity and quality of basic life needs such as sugar, clothe and blankets. The food shortage is causing malnutrition to prisoners, he said.
The prison's administration didn’t allow entering food to prisoners without any reason, according to the advocate.
Meanwhile, Prisoners in Nafha prison will protest demanding the administration to meet their needs, said the Prisoner's Association advocate in Nafha.
Prisoners’ needs include allowing imprisoned students to resume their study, providing them with more blankets because of the extreme cold conditions and appropriate medical care as patients number is increasing due to the extreme negligence in health care, and stopping humiliating inspections.
Nafha prison is located in in Naqab desert. Kfar Etzion prison is near Jerusalem.
