RAMALLAH, January4, 2008 (WAFA)-At least eight citizens were wounded on Friday noon by Israeli gunfire in a peaceful demonstration in protest against the closure of Ramallah-al-Latron street Num(443) in the West Bank.

Citizens of west Ramallah villages and towns as well national figures and Israeli peace activists participated in the peaceful demonstration. When the demonstration has approached Ramallah –al-Latron street, Israeli soldiers opened rubber coated bullets towards them, wounding eight and broking a leg of another.
