AMMAN, January 1, 2008 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Amman Tuesday en route to Cairo for talks with Egyptian President Hosny Mubarak.

President Abbas is also scheduled to Arab League Secretary General Amr Musa. He will discuss with them the results of last November 27 Annapolis conferences.

President Abbas is due to brief his Egyptian counterpart on the outcome of his talks earlier this week with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
