MOH: 5135 Citizens Killed During Al-Aqsa Intifada
RAMALLAH-GAZA, October1, 2007 (WAFA)-Ministry of Health(MOH) said that 5135 citizens were killed, including 25% children during the first seventh years of Al-Aqsa Intifada.
In a report on the occasion of the eighth year of Al-Aqsa Al-Intifada, Head of emergency unites, Dr. Mua'wiya Hassenein revealed that 1253 children, under age 16, and 183 women were killed by Israeli gunfire.
The report mentioned that 57 citizens were wounded and 1500 were handicapped. While 112 of nurses and paramedics were killed and 1893 wounded.
Israeli Occupation Forces destroyed 136 ambulances and the Israeli violation against medical teams reach to 8332 breaches.
