RAMALLAH, April 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas congratulated Péter Magyar, leader of the Hungarian Tesa party, on the occasion of his party’s victory in the 2026 parliamentary elections.
President Abbas expressed his warmest congratulations on this unprecedented and resounding victory, considering it a reflection of the confidence of the Hungarian people.
The President voiced his aspiration to work with the upcoming Hungarian government to strengthen relations between the two countries and their peoples. He wished Magyar success in his duties and expressed hope that Hungary and its people would achieve further progress and prosperity.
