Musharraf Ready to Mediate Peace Between Palestine, Israel
DUBAI, April 21, 2007 (WAFA) - Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf expressed readiness on Saturday to mediate peace between Palestine and Israel.
"If I was accepted as a neutral mediator by all sides, I would most certainly be able to play a big role," Musharraf told Al Arabiya television.
"How would I deal with this issue? ... I would go to Israel and meet leaders there or maybe in a third country," said Musharraf, affirming that he would wait to see if there was a chance of visiting Israel.
