RAMALLAH, April 21, 2007, (WAFA)-Presidency Spokesman, Nabil Abu Rdeina,
denounced on Saturday the Israeli occupation snipers' assassination of
a Palestinian police in the West Bank city of Jenin..
In a statement, he said that the crime of assassinating the police Mohammed
Abed comes within the framework of Israeli escalation policy against the
Palestinian people as an attempt to foil the Palestinian National Authority's
effort to restore security and stability in our cities, villages and camps..
Abu Rdeina called on the international community to immediately intervene
and pressurize Israeli occupation to halt its violent acts against the
Palestinian people.
