Abu Amr Calls for Dealing with Unity Government without Discrimination
RIYADH, March 26, 2007, (WAFA)-Dr. Ziyad Abu Amr, Minister of Foreign Affairs, called Monday for the necessity to deal with the Palestinian national unity government without discrimination.
In a statement to WAFA, in light of Arab Foreign Ministers meeting in Riyadh, Abu Amr added that there are Arab various topics on the agenda, and we, initially, focused on the Palestinian issue and there were several draft resolutions, one is on the Arab peace initiative and its activation through putting mechanisms to Arab move at the international level, in order to compel Israel to respect and accept and implement the Arab initiative as a good basis for the settling the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Dr Abu Amr stressed on the issue of dealing and supporting the government of national unity without discrimination.
The Minister affirmed that the preparatory meeting of the Foreign Ministers adopted the draft resolution submitted to the heads of the states to deal with the government of national unity and support it without discrimination.
