Kuwait Welcomes Unity Gov't Formation
KUWAIT, March 18, 2007 (WAFA) -- The State of Kuwait welcomed Sunday the formation of the Palestinian national unity government and the confidence it won at the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC).
A source at the foreign ministry praised the "wisdom and spirit of responsibility" among the Palestinians which aimed at strengthening their unity and stopping the bloodshed among the Palestinians.
Kuwait congratulates the Palestinian people and their leadership for "this positive and constructive step," the source said in a statement.
Kuwait also hopes the government formation would have positive impacts on the international community in order to achieve ambitions of the Palestinian people, added the source.
