President Abbas Meets with EU's External Relations Commissioner
AMMAN, February 28, 2007 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas met Wednesday in Amman with EU Commissioner for External Relations, Benita Ferrero-Waldner.
During the meeting, President Abbas discussed with the EU official the latest developments in the Palestinian territory in light of Israel's ongoing military escalation against Nablus and Jenin cities.
They also discussed the efforts made to form the national unity government in accordance with the Mecca Agreement and well as means to lift the embargo on the Palestinian people and reviving the peace process.
