President Abbas Meets with Jordan's PM
AMMAN, February 28, 2007 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas met Wednesday with the Jordanian Prime Minister Ma'rouf al-Bakhit in Amman.
During the meeting, President Abbas discussed with al-Khatib the latest developments in the Palestinian territory in light of Israel's ongoing military escalation against Nablus and Jenin cities.
They also discussed the efforts made to form the national unity government in accordance with the Mecca Agreement and well as means to lift the embargo on the Palestinian people and reviving the peace process.
