Arab League Calls on Quartet to Lift Siege
Cairo, February 28, 2007 (WAFA) - The Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League for the Palestinian Affairs Mohammad Subeih called upon the Quartet to lift the embargo imposed on the Palestinians.
Subeih said that the quartet justifications in this regard are not acceptable adding that the negotiations are between the Israeli government and the Palestinian Liberation Organization.
Subeih added that the coming Riyadh summit will witness decisions that affirm the need for immediate relaunch of the peace process based to a negotiations timetable.
