2 Children Wounded, 4 Civilinas Arrested in OPTs
NABLUS, March 25, 2004 (WAFA)- At least two children were wounded and four other civilians arrested by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in separate incidents in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT), according to witnesses, medcal and security sources.... Medical sources, in Nablus said that IOF soldiers severly beat up Ibrahim ‘Ayesh, 13, when he was playing with a group of teenagers near “Khilat al-Eiman neighbourhood of Nablus.... Elsewhere, IOF soldiers shot and wounded Shaher al-Salmi, 8, with a live gunshot in the leg when they opened heavy fire at civilians’ houses in Khnyounis City, south of Gaza Strip.... According to witnesses and medical sources, four civilians were arrested in Rafedia neighbourhood and Balata refugee Camp of Nablus, in West Bank.... Security sources said that Israeli soldiers arrested Tha’er Qandeel,15, Nasser al-‘Ortani,15, of rafedia together an unidentified with civilian from the city of Nablus.... Israeli soldiers also arrested Hani Khalil, 21, of Balata refugee camp during an Israeli thrust into the camp, security sources added....
