15 Civilians Arrested in West Bank by IOF


NABLUS, March 24, 2004, (WAFA)- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested early Wednesday fifteen civilians in the West Bank cities of Nablus, Qalqilya and Bethlehem.... In Nablus City, IOF incurred into Nablus City refugee camp of Balata, and arrested six civilians, witnesses said.... They told WAFA that more than twenty military vehicles swept into the refugee camp shortly before launching a house-to-house search campaign and arrested Rimah Habaieb, 18, a university student..... IOF broke into the house of Dawood Abu Hamdan, arrested him, his two sons Mohammed and Sulaiman and his nephew Qasim. They also arrested Nader's Abu Lail father, Witnesses added.... Meanwhile, IOF installed mobile checkpoints northern Nablus City.... In Qalqilya, IOF arrested Wednesday six others in Jayoos town of the city after storming it, security sources reported.... They confirmed that IOF soldiers thrust into the town, besieged a number of houses and arrested the two brothers Adam, 20 and Noah Haramy.... In Bethlehem, IOF broke into al-Dawha City and al-Dhisha refugee camp and arrested three youths, witnesses said.... They told WAFA that a number of Israeli military vehicles stormed al-Dawha City and al-Dhisha refugee camp amid intensive shooting and opened random fire against the civilian houses.... IOF soldiers arrested Mohammed Abu Najma, Alaa al-Stafy, and Abdullah Jaber. They were led into an unknown place, witnesses added....
