TOBBAS, March 23, 2004, (WAFA)- Mobs of armed Israeli colonizers and soldiers abducted Monday a Palestinian peasant and tried to kill him in the village of Bardala, near the northern West Bank town of Tobbas, witnesses told WAFA.... Yassin Daraghmeh, 45, said that while he was heading home a group of Israeli colonizers and soldiers abducted him at gunpoint and led him to an unknown place.... "They led me to an uninhabited area, one of the soldiers was nearly to shot me," Daraghmeh said, " suddenly some pedestrians saw me and began shouting demanding help...." Earlier on Tuesday Morning, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested one Palestinian citizens in the city of Tulkarem.... Witnesses told WAFA that several Israeli military jeeps swept into Sfarien Village of Tulkarem and arrested Yousef Hassan 40.... Palestinian security sources said Israeli soldiers searched several houses and arrested Hassan and led him to an undisclosed place.... Israeli troops have tightened its stranglehold around the city preventing hundreds of citizens from leaving or entering....
