RAMALLAH, March 17, 2004 (WAFA)- President Yasser Arafat appreciated Wednesday the Egyptian efforts to revive the peace process and to implement the Roadmap peace plan.... In a press conference held in Ramallah today with the Egyptian President's political advisor, Osama al-Baz, Arafat welcomed all efforts aiming at reviving the peace process, especially at this critical moment as Israel escalates its aggression against the Palestinian people.... President Arafat added that Israeli Occupation Authorities have reoccupied Bethlehem City and continued constructing the “Racial Segregation Wall” in Jerusalem.... “ We can together implement the Roadmap and establish an independent Palestinian State” Arafat told reporters.... On his part, al-Baz said that International community exerts all efforts to push the peace process forward in an attempt that the Palestinians and Israelis avoid the danger of the continuation of increasing tension.... He added that the Palestinian leadership is determined to follow the path of peace in spite of all obstacles....
