HEBRON, March 17, 2004 (WAFA)- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Wednesday five civilians in the West Bank cities of Hebron and Qalqilya, security sources said.... Palestinian security sources told WAFA that about fifteen Israeli soldiers, backed by tanks and armoured vehicles, stormed “Khillat al-Nasrani” vicinity of Hebron City.... The sources added that Israeli soldiers besieged a four-storey building owned by al-Sharbati family and arrested Nasser Miswada 35, Ahmed al-sharbati 27, and the two Sharbati brothers Imad 17 and Nihad 23.... Hisham al-Sharbati, an eyewitness, said that Israeli soldiers stormed several neighbouring houses and smashed property, “ snipers took positions on roofs and started shooting randomly,” al-Sharbati added.... Meanwhile, IOF arrested a civilian in ‘Azoon ‘Etma village of Qalqilya after beating him up , witnesses said.... WAFA reporter said that Mahomoud Fayeq was assaulted and arrested by IOF soldiers while heading to work.... Eyewitnesses said that Israeli soldiers severely beat Fayeq, blind -folded him and took him to an unknown location....
