Palestinian Leadership Condemns Ashdod Blast
RAMALLAH, March 15, 2004 (WAFA)- The Palestinian leadership denounced Sunday the blasts on the Ashdod Israeli Port.... In a statement, the Palestinian leadership said that it "completely condemns" such operations because they aim at rebuffing the long-awaited Palestinian- Israeli meeting.... It reiterated that the leadership would work to implement the security plan by Arab and international support so as not to expose the Palestinian people for more Israeli aggressions and massacres.... On its part, the Palestinian government also condemned the Ashdod blasts, stressing the necessity to stop such operations, and called on Israel for an immediate cease-fire as well as the implementation of the Roadmap peace plan.... The government added that it rejects targeting civilians of both sides, urging Israel not to give a chance to those who seek to undermine the peace process....
