Occupation forces detain injured youth in Al-Arroub camp and two others during colonists’ attacks south of Hebron

HEBRON, 10 April 2026 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces detained a young Palestinian man who was injured by live fire during a military raid on Al-Arroub refugee camp on Friday evening, and also detained another citizen and his son while they were confronting a colonists’ attack in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, according to local sources.

Sources said that Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Arroub camp, firing live ammunition, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters, and detained a young man after he was injured by gunfire.

Colonists also attacked shepherds in the area of Tal Ma’in in Masafer Yatta, while Israeli occupation forces, who provided protection to the colonists, detained a citizen and his son while they were confronting the attack.

During the colonists’ attack, a young man was injured after colonists sprayed pepper spray into citizens’ faces.

Colonists also attacked citizens and shepherds in Khirbet Al-Mufaqara village, stormed the home of a Palestinian citizen, and vandalized its contents after breaking down the door, terrorizing the children inside.

Colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, carried out a series of attacks against several communities and villages in Masafer Yatta, including destroying crops, releasing their sheep and cattle onto citizens’ lands and farmlands, and chasing shepherds and residents.
