NABLUS, April 10, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities on Friday issued a military order to level approximately 33 dunums of land belonging to the village of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.
Local sources said the decision includes the uprooting of hundreds of fruit trees, particularly olive and almond trees, located along the main road between Ramallah and Nablus, near the girls' secondary school in al-Lubban al-Sharqiya and close to residential homes.
Residents were handed a military order stating that the demolition and land clearing are being carried out under the pretext of providing "security" for colonists. The planned works extend along more than two kilometers of agricultural land belonging to the village.
