JERUSALEM, Saturday, July 11, 2020 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces injured eight Palestinians today during a raid of the occupied Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Isawiya, said the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

The occupation forces raided the neighborhood in the afternoon hours provoking clashes with local Palestinian protesters.

The forces fired rubber-coated rounds and teargas at civilians, injuring some of them with rubber-coated rounds and causing others, including a pregnant woman, to suffocate from gas inhalation.

Other civilians also sustained burns after being sprayed with pepper gas by the forces.

Over the past couple of months, excessive police brutality and indiscriminate daily raids by Israeli forces on al-Isawiya have left residents of the occupied Jerusalem district exhausted, with no end in sight.
