Palestine confirms three coronavirus deaths, 396 infections

 

RAMALLAH, Friday, July 10, 2020 (WAFA) – Three people died today from coronavirus in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, said the Ministry of Health in a statement as it also announced that 396 new infections in Palestine.

It said the three people who died today range in age between 58, 71, and 87.

Meanwhile, Minister of Health Mai al-Kaileh said 396 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Palestine, which brings up the total cases confirmed since the outbreak of pandemic in Palestine to 5829.

She said 65 of the new cases were in occupied Jerusalem, 15 in the Jerusalem governorate on the West Bank side of the Israeli segregation barrier, 26 in Ramallah, 263 in Hebron, two in Tulkarm, 18 in Bethlehem, six in Nablus, and one in Qalqilia.

Al-Kaileh added that 11 recoveries from coronavirus were registered in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, raising total recoveries to 710.

The number of active cases now stands at 5485, while the number of recoveries has reached 30.
