RAMALLAH, Saturday, July 04, 2020 (WAFA) – A significant drop in temperature is expected today, which nevertheless remains about 3°C above the seasonal average with hot conditions, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Light to moderate northwesterly wind is expected, gets active at times and sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 30°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 40°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
No change in temperature or weather conditions is expected for Sunday, but temperature is expected to drop again on Monday and Tuesday to become around the seasonal average, said the PMD, which warned people against exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and against setting fire to dry grass.
