RAMALLAH, Monday, June 29, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to clear, mild in mountainous districts and relatively hot to hot in other districts in daytime with a slight drop in temperature which remains a little bit above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather is partially cloudy and mild in most districts. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 27°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Tuesday’s temperature is set to further drop and become seasonal, paving the way to partially cloudy to clear and mild conditions in mountainous districts and relatively hot to hot conditions in other districts. Mild to slightly cold conditions are expected in nighttime.

A slight rise in temperature is expected on Wednesday, with mainly clear and relatively hot to hot conditions in daytime and mild to slightly cold conditions in nighttime.

Thursday’s temperature is set to further rise and approach 4°C above the seasonal average, increasing the heat stress. Therefore, mainly clear and hot to very hot conditions are expected in daytime and relatively hot conditions in nighttime.
