Weather forecast: Relatively hot to hot conditions prevail

 

RAMALLAH, Friday, June 26, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is mainly clear and relatively hot in mountainous districts and very hot in the Jordan Valley in daytime with a rise in temperature which approaches 2°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Mild conditions are expected in the evening and nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts. Light to moderate northwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 17°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 28°C and a low of 16°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Saturday’s temperature is set to rise and approach 4°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to clear and hot to very hot conditions in daytime and mild conditions in nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts.

Mainly clear and hot to very hot conditions are expected on Sunday with steady temperature.

PMD expects Monday’s temperature to drop by 2°C, paving the way to partially cloudy to clear and relatively hot to hot conditions.
