RAMALLAH, Tuesday, February 11, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy and very cold, particularly in the early morning and night hours, with a rise in temperature, which remains unseasonably low, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Scattered rainfall is expected, particularly in the northern districts, from the noon throughout nighttime. Moderate to active southwesterly winds prevails. Sea waves are medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 8°C and a low of 5°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 7°C and a low of 4°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Wednesday’s temperature is set to significantly rise with partly cloudy and cold to very cold conditions. Scattered light rainfall is expected, particularly in the north.

Thursday’s temperature is set to further significantly rise and become seasonal, paving the way to clear and relatively cold to slightly mild conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in nighttime.

A slight rise in temperature is expected on Friday, with slightly mild conditions in daytime and relatively cold to cold conditions in nighttime.

PMD warns people against slippery roads and low visibility on Tuesday.
