RAMALLAH, Wednesday, January 29, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is mostly cloudy and relatively cold to cold in daytime and cold to very cold in nighttime with a slight drop in temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
A chance of scattered rainfall, which could be torrential, along with occasional thunderstorms is expected in most districts. Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly and moderate to active in daytime, and becomes light to moderate in nighttime. Sea waves are light to moderate.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 11°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Thursday’s temperature is set to slightly rise with partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold conditions in daytime and very cold conditions in the early morning and night hours. A slight chance of scattered rainfall, particularly in the north, is expected.
A drop is expected in temperature on Friday with partially cloudy and cold to very cold conditions. A chance of scattered rain showers, which could be accompanied with thunderstorms, is expected.
Saturday’s temperature is set to remain steady with partly cloudy and cold to very cold conditions. A slight chance of scattered rainfall is still expected on some districts.
