RAMALLAH, Tuesday, January 28, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold in daytime and very cold in the early morning hours and nighttime with steady temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 13°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 12°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature is set to drop on Wednesday with mostly cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions. A chance of scattered rainfall, which could be torrential, is expected.

Thursday’s temperature is set to slightly rise with partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold conditions in daytime and very cold conditions in the early morning and night hours. A slight chance of scattered rainfall, particularly in the north, is expected.

A drop is expected in temperature on Friday with partially cloudy and cold to very cold conditions. A chance of scattered rain showers, which could be accompanied with thunderstorms, is expected.
