RAMALLAH, Sunday, January 26, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to clear and cold with a slight rise in temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northwesterly to northeasterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 4°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 9°C and a low of 2°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 9°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 8°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A further slight rise in temperature is expected on Monday. Partly cloudy skies and relatively cold conditions are expected in daytime while very cold conditions are expected for the night.

Temperature slightly rises on Tuesday but drops again on Wednesday. Mostly cloudy skies are expected to prevail during the two days.

PMD warns people against the risk of frosting during the early morning hours of Sunday.
