RAMALLAH, Friday, January 24, 2020 (WAFA) – Spokesperson for Presidency Nabil Abu Rudeineh today denied that the Presidency had any talk with the US administration on the US-touted Mideast plan, dubbed "the deal of the century".
Abu Rudeineh confirmed that the Presidency has not spoken briefly or at length with the US administration on the deal of the century, which US President Donald Trump plans to unveil in the coming days.
“The Palestinian ]leadership[ has a clear and unwavering position, rejecting Trump’s decisions on Jerusalem and other issues as well as everything that has to do with the so-called deal of the century,” he confirmed.
Abu Rudeineh made his comments in response to Trump’s statements that there would be discussions with the Palestinians about his long-touted plan, which is in fact designed to force Palestinians into submission to perpetual Israeli dominance.
“We’ve spoken to them briefly. But we will speak to them in a period of time. And they have a lot of incentive to do it. I’m sure they maybe will act negatively at first, but it’s actually very positive for them. But they have a lot of incentive to do it,” he said.
