RAMALLAH, Tuesday, January 21, 2020 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas met today with adviser of the president of Chechnya and his representative in Arab and Islamic countries, where they discussed the latest political developments in the Palestinian territories and the steadfastness and adherence of the Palestinian people to their legitimate rights endorsed by international resolutions.

President Abbas praised the positions of Chechnya in support of the Palestinian issue in international forums .

For his part, the Chechen guest conveyed the greetings of Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov to President Abbas, praising his wisdom and policy aimed at bringing peace and stability to the region and the world, and affirming his country‘s position in support of the Palestinian people’s rights and just cause.
