RAMALLAH, Saturday, January 18, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is cloudy and very cold with a slight drop in temperature and rain along with thunderstorms and hail expected on most areas, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Moderate to active southwesterly to westerly winds are expected with medium to high sea waves.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 11°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 10°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A further drop in temperature is expected on Sunday with rain, thunderstorms and hail falling on most areas.

A slight rise in temperature is expected for Monday with occasional showers and thunderstorms.

However, temperature drops again on Tuesday as rain is expected in most areas.

PMD warns people against the risk of flash floods in low areas and valleys, slippery roads and low visibility.
