RAMALLAH, Friday, January 17, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is cloudy and relatively cold to cold in daytime and extremely cold in nighttime with a significant drop in temperature which becomes seasonal, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Occasional light showers are expected in the evening hours, and become torrential and accompanied with isolated thunderstorms in nighttime. Moderate to active southwesterly winds will prevail. Sea waves are medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 11°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Saturday’s temperature is set to slightly drop with cloudy and cold conditions in various districts. Occasional showers, which could be torrential, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and occasional hail, are expected.
