RAMALLAH, Wednesday, January 1, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to cloudy and cold in daytime to very cold at night, particularly in mountainous districts, with a chance of scattered rain on some districts, mainly in the north, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is southwesterly to westerly, moderate to active and sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 11°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Thursday’s weather is expected to remain partly cloudy and cold to very cold. Occasional light rainfall, along with thunderstorms, are expected at night, particularly in the north.
Friday’s temperature is expected to significantly drop with partly cloudy and chilly conditions in various districts. Scattered rainfall along with occasional thunderstorms and hail are expected on various districts.
Similar weather conditions are expected for Saturday.
