RAMALLAH, Saturday, October 26, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is cloudy and rainy in most districts with no change in temperature, remaining 3°C below the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Rainfall accompanied by occasional thunderstorms is expected in most districts of Palestine. Winds are southeasterly to southwesterly, moderate to occasionally active. Sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 21°C and a low of 15°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Rain and thunderstorms are also expected in most districts on Sunday, with no significant change in temperature which remains 3°C below the seasonal average.
Temperature is expected to slightly drop on Monday approaching 4°C below seasonal average. Weather is expected to be partially cloudy and mild in daytime and relatively cold in nighttime, with a little chance of scattered rain showers.
Similar weather conditions are likely on Tuesday, yet with another slight drop in temperature that reaches 5°C below annual average.
PMD warned people against the risk of flash floods in low areas and valleys, slippery roads and low visibility.
