RAMALLAH, Thursday, October 24, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy and mild in most districts in daytime and relatively cold in nighttime, especially in mountainous districts, with a slight drop in temperature approaching 3°C below the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Sporadic showers with isolated thunderstorms are expected in most districts. Wind is southwesterly to northeasterly and light to moderate with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 15°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 21°C and a low of 14°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 20°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Friday’s temperature is set to remain steady with partially cloudy and mild conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in nighttime, especially in the northern districts. Occasional rain showers accompanied by thunderstorms are expected.
Saturday’s weather is expected to remain the same with a further drop in temperature which approaches 4°C below the seasonal average.
Temperature is expected to rise on Sunday while remaining 3°C below the seasonal average as weather is expected to be partially cloudy and mild in daytime and relatively cold in nighttime.
PMD warns people against the risk of flash floods in low areas and valleys, slippery roads and low visibility.
