HEBRON, Saturday, October 19, 2019 (WAFA) – Many civilians were hurt early today when Israeli soldiers showered the town of Beit Ummar, in the south of the West Bank, with teargas and stun grenades during an army raid, according to Mohammad Awad, a local activist.
He told WAFA that soldiers broke into an area of the town located near the illegal Jewish settlement of Karmi Tsur, built on seized Beit Ummar land, and fired shots of teargas grenades at people and homes causing many civilians to suffer serious suffocation.
They were treated on the spot, said Awad.
