NABLUS, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 (WAFA) – The Israeli army announced today that Hawwara checkpoint on Road No. 60 that goes from the north to the south of the West Bank will be closed for two days, according to Palestinian security sources.
They told WAFA that the army announced the closure of the checkpoint used mainly by Palestinian commuters to coincide with the US-sponsored two-day economic workshop that opens in the Bahraini capital Manama today.
Palestinians have called for two days of rage in the occupied territories to protest the Manama workshop which they say is intended to undermine their struggle for independence.
