RAMALLAH, Sunday, June 23, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is warm during the day and relatively cool at night with a slight rise in temperature, approaching 2°C above annual average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, low to moderate and active at times. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 28°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature is expected to rise on Monday to approach 5°C above annual average. Another rise is expected on Tuesday and temperature reaches 8°C above the average for this time of the year, said the PMD.

Similar weather conditions are likely on Wednesday.

People are warned against direct exposure to sunlight during the peak hours of the day between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.
